the shared energetic state reached by a group of people that allows them to perform one or more tasks in perfect rhythm and harmony with great energy to overcome obstacles.

a phenomenon that occurs in many contexts; a project team may associate it with hyper-productivity, a sports team may call it "being in the zone", children may simply call it "having fun with the group," musicians may call it "entrainment".

not deliberately created by a group but learning about it encourages groups to identify enablers and remove obstacles.

a felt perception. Individuals who have experienced Group Coherence can recognize it in other contexts and want to recreate the experience in other groups.

outside the frame of reference of traditional models of group dynamics which focus on the behaviour of the individuals in a group, rather than the group itself and collective characteristics.
